Tualatin Pre-Construction Bird Survey
Wildwood Environmental provided nesting bird surveys for the LAM Research Tualatin Expansion. Work was performed during the 2026 nesting bird season, which triggered the necessity for nesting bird surveys to avoid the take* of birds. All active nests identified were protected with established no-disturbance buffers.
*take is legally defined as to pursue, hunt, shoot, wound, kill, trap, capture, or collect, or attempt to do any of these actions to protected migratory birds, their nests, or eggs (MBTA).
